Scope
This policy covers personal data processed through fourfoundry.com — the marketing website you're on now. It does not cover any separate systems used once an engagement is underway, which would be governed by that engagement's own agreement.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect what you enter: name, email address, company (optional), what you're getting in touch about, and your message. We don't ask for anything beyond what's needed to respond to you. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site — no visitor behavior is collected or profiled.
How we use it
We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it for unrelated marketing without your separate, explicit consent.
Who we share it with
If email delivery is configured, submitting a form on this site transmits your message to Resend (resend.com), the third-party service we use to deliver it to our inbox. The site itself is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data (like IP address) to serve pages and guard against abuse. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Job applications
If you apply through the Careers page, we collect what you submit: your name, email, location, area of interest, and message, plus anything optional you include — a LinkedIn, portfolio, or CV/résumé link. We use this solely to consider you for a role at FourFoundry. Applications are delivered by email through Resend (resend.com), the same service provider used for the contact form (see "Who we share it with," above). We do not sell applicant data. Outside of the service providers necessary to receive and deliver your application, we don't share it with recruiters, data brokers, or anyone else, and we don't use it for anything other than evaluating your application.
Data retention
We keep contact form submissions and job applications only as long as needed to handle your inquiry or evaluate your application, plus any reasonable follow-up. We don't yet have a fixed retention schedule for candidate data specifically — submissions live in ordinary business email correspondence rather than a separate database, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your rights, below).
Your rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your data, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@fourfoundry.com.
Data controller
FourFoundry ("we", "us") is the data controller for information submitted through this site, reachable at hello@fourfoundry.com.
Changes to this policy
If how we collect or use data changes — including if we introduce analytics or tracking in the future — we'll update this page first, and add a cookie consent mechanism if one becomes legally required.
